St. Mary’s – The Dusky Warbler lived up to its name and showed and called just before dusk! at 16:45, ranging from near the hides in Lower Moors along to Telegraph Road and crossing the road to Rosehill corner. Also in Lower Moors were 4 Siberian Chiffchaffs with another 3 in the Dump Clump. 2 of the Ring-necked Ducks ( a male and a female) flew over from Tresco and joined the 6 Greenland White-fronted Geese on Porth Hellick. The Richards Pipit was still in a field on the Sandy Lane side of Four Lanes crossroads and 5 Crossbills were in pines at the Bant’s Carn end of the Golf Course, another 2 were at Longstone.

Samson – 3 Spoonbills, the Ruddy Shelduck and a Black-throated Diver.

Inter-island waters – 2 Slavonian Grebes were between St. Martin’s & the Eastern Isles, an Eider was in Tresco Channel and 4 Dark-bellied Brent Geese and 6 Great Northern Diverswere between Teän and St. Helen’s.
