Tuesday A Green Sandpiper and a Cetti’s Warbler were at Shooters’ Pool Wednesday 12 Sandwich Tern, 3 Mediterranean Gull ,7 Black-headed Gull and a Common Sandpiper were at Porthcressa. 5 Crossbill were at Longstone and flew off towards Sandy Lane. Friday 25 Swift were over Longstone. Saturday 2 Mediterranean Gull were in Porthcressa Bay, 2 were in Tresco Channel and 6 were hawking flying ants over Tresco, 20 Swift were also over Tresco and a Little Egret was in Tresco Channel. Monday No reports Tuesday The first short-range evening pelagic trip produced the first Wilson’s Storm-petrel of the season and 40 European Storm-petrel. Wednesday 1st – Sunday 5th July 2020 – IoS Bird Sightings

Wednesday The only report was of a Hobby over Normandy. Thursday The Cetti’s Warbler was still near the Dump Clump and a brief visit to Tresco produced a Tufted Duck, a Black-tailed Godwit, a Golden Plover and 3 Mediterranean Gull.
