Little Grebe – 1 on the Great Pool, Tresco.
Pochard – Still at least to ducklings on Abbey Pool, Tresco.
Little Egret – 1 on Abbey Pool, Tresco
Whimbrel – 29 on St. Helen’s.
Raven – 1 over Lower Moors.
Common Swift –7 over Abbey Farm, Tresco and 2 over Lower Moors.
Short-beaked Common Dolphin – 40 on an evening pelagic trip 5.5 miles southwest of the Bishop Rock.
Ocean Sunfish – 1 on an evening pelagic trip 5.5 miles southwest of the Bishop Rock.
Blue Shark – 1 caught, tagged and released on an evening pelagic trip 5.5 miles southwest of the Bishop Rock.

Common Swift – 4 over the Rive Islands School, 3 over Holy Vale and 1 over the Garrison.
Saturday (11/07)
Green Sandpiper – The first returning birds of the “autumn” were 3on Porth Hellick Pool.
Common Sandpiper – 1 flew around Porth Hellick Pool before flying off and 1 was at Dropnose Point, St. Agnes.
Sunday (12/07)
Whimbrel – 1 at Bar Point and 1 near Samson.
Mediterranean Gull –44 near Samson
Common Tern – 5 near Samson.
Sandwich Tern –12 near Samson, 2 over Hugh Town and 3 on St. Agnes.
Black Redstart – An unseasonal bird was in fields above Old Grimsby, Tresco.
Monday (13/07)
Common Sandpiper – 1 at Stinking Porth, Bryher and 1 on Porth Hellick Pool.
Whimbrel – 1 at Stinking Porth and 1 flew over the Garrison in the early hours of the morning.
