Thursday 4th and Friday 5th November 2015 IoS Bird Sightings

Thursday’s birds were: St. Mary’s – The Pink-footed Goose and a Whinchat were on Peninnis. St. Agnes – The Water Pipit and 7 Black Redstarts. St. Mary’s – The Great Spotted Woodpecker was in Holy Vale, 2 Yellow-browed Warblers were at Higher Moors with another at Lower Moors. Sunday 1st November 2015 IoS Bird Sightings

St. Mary’s  – The juvenile Osprey was over Porth Hellick Pool in the morning and later at Lower Moors. Dusky Warbler – 1 still on Barnaby Lane, St. Agnes.

Pallas’s Warbler – 1 still at Troy Town, St. Agnes.

Serin – 2 over Barnaby Lane, St. Agnes.

Hawfinch – Still 1 on Green Lane

Osprey – 1 flew over Lower Moors towards Porth Hellick. (more…)
