St Mary’s – first-winter Mediterranean Gull & 5+ Black Redstarts at Porthcressa, single Black Redstarts at Carn Leh & Porth Mellon and Richard’s Pipit still in the field on the other side of the boardwalk opposite the entrance to the seaward hide at Porth Hellick Pool.

An interesting Acrocephalus Warbler frequented the extensive sedge around Big Pool, St Agnes in the last week of October ’09. Thought by some to be Marsh Warbler, others weren’t convinced.
