Monday – The Lesser Kestrel was still in the Porth Hellick Down, Deep Point area and the 2  Chough were seen flying past Porthloo. 5 Golden Plover, a Merlin & 10 Wheatear were on the Airfield. 2 Manx Shearwater  were seen from The Scillonian III, a Great Skua flew past Deep Point and a Black-tailed Godwit  was in a field on Peninnis. Thursday 19th March – Sunday 22nd March 2020 – IoS Bird Sightings

Thursday – The Lesser Kestrel was still on Porth Hellick Down. Around 30 Sand Martins were on St.Mary’s and single Swallow were seen at Longstone & Porth Hellick. Monday 13th – Sunday 19th January 2020 – IoS Bird Sightings

Monday (13/01) An hour’s sea-watch from Peninnis produced 4 Fulmar, 2 Gannet, c20 Kittiwake and a single Guillemot. On land, again on Peninnis, a Jack Snipe & a Merlin were seen. Tuesday (14/01) There were no reports. Wednesday (15/01) A Great Northern Diver and the Black-necked Grebe where in Town Bay and 2 Raven were displaying over Porthloo. Tuesday (07/01) The only report was of a Short-eared Owl hunting over Toll’s Hill.
