Highlights from Tuesday night’s log:-

Brent Goose – 3 pale bellied birds on Porthloo.

Common Scoter – 1 in Porthcressa.

Merlin – 2 St. Mary’s, 2 Tresco and 1 St. Agnes.

Peregrine – The Tundra Peregrine that has been on the island since at leat October 7th was seen to kill and eat a Kestrel.

Jack Snipe – 1 on the golf course and 1 Lower Moors.

Common Sandpiper – A late bird at Watermill.

Great Skua – 2 off Peninnis and 2 in the Roads.

Mediterranean Gull – A first-winter off Morning Point.

Short-eared Owl – 1 Kittydown.

Water Pipit – 1 Lower Moors.

Yellow-browed Warbler 6 on St. Mary’s.

Firecrest – 13 on St. Mary’s.

Red-breasted Flycatcher – 1 in the Garrison Pines.

Serin – 1 in the Green Lane.

Lesser Redpoll – 4 Carn Gwaval..

Lapland Bunting – 1 at Pelistry.
