Common Whitethroat – 1 singing beside the eastern runway on the airfield.
White Wagtail – 1 in the bare field next to Bourdeaux Pottery.
Redpoll – 1 in a mixed flock of finches at Shooters’ Pool.

Shoveler – On Tresco single drakes were on both pools.
Pochard – 1 on Tresco.
Tufted Duck – 1 on Porth Hellick Pool.
Great Northern Diver – 2 seen from a boat crossing from St. Martin’s to St. Mary’s.
Bar-tailed Godwit – 3 on Tresco.
Whimbrel – 6 on Tresco.
Swift – 5 over Tresco.
Thursday (21/05)
Great Northern Diver – 1 in Higher Town Bay, St. Martin’s.
Swift – 2 over the Great Pool, Tresco and 2 near the Daymark, St. Martin’s.
Rook – 1 at the east end of the Great Pool, Tresco.
Turtle Dove – 2 in the field next to Bourdeaux Pottery.
Whimbrel – 7 Great Bay, St. Martin’s.
Redpoll – 3 on Townhill, Tresco.

Golden Oriole – 1 in the pines at the top of Carreg Dhu Gardens.
Dartford Warbler – 1 still singing on Chapel Down, St. Martin’s.

Pochard – A drake on Abbey Pool, Tresco and a pair with 1 duckling.

Great Northern Diver – 4 near Annet and 1 near Menawethan, Eastern Isles.
European Storm-petrel – 22 in Scilly waters seen from the Scillonian III on the morning crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s.
Manx Shearwater – 130 near Annet in the evening.
Common Tern – 2 on Spencer’s Buoy.
Puffin – 1 in Scilly waters seen from the Scillonian III on the morning crossing from Penzance to St. Mary’s.
Purple Sandpiper – 11 on Annet.
Whimbrel – 3 Pentle Bay, Tresco.
Bar-tailed Godwit – 2 Pentle Bay, Tresco.
Marsh Harrier – 1 over the St. Mary’s dump area, later seen over Teän and then flew towards Porth Seal, St. Martin’s.
Swift – 1 at the west end of the Great Pool, Tresco.
Cuckoo – 1 calling at Churchtown Farm, St. Martin’s.
Whitethroat – 1 singing in the pines on Salakee Down.

Whimbrel – 3 on Porth Cressa Beach early morning and 1 on the beach of Bathinghouse Porth, Tresco.
Marsh Harrier – 1 flew over Churchtown Farm, St. Martin’s.
Turtle Dove – 1 flew over Porth Hellick Pool towards St. Martin’s

Dartford Warbler – 1 still singing on Chapel Down, St. Martin’s.
Great Northern Diver – 2 between the Garrison & Samson, 1 off the Blockhouse, Tresco and 1 in Rushy Bay, Bryher.
Whimbrel – 4 on Teän and 3 on Periglis Beach, St. Agnes.
Marsh Harrier – 1 around the Plains, St. Martin’s.
Swift – 1 over St. Agnes.
Turtle Dove – 1 in a garden on High Lanes and 1 in Lowertown Farm fields, St. Agnes.
