Saturday 9th May 2009 IoS Bird Reports

St. Mary’s - Jackdaw (2) still  around the island and Iceland Gull still at the Dump. Hawfinch flew over Porth Hellick Pool and White Wagtail there. Common Buzzard flew over Lower Moors.

St. Agnes – Curlew Sandpiper, Ruff (male), Turtle Dove (first Scilly record this year), Whimbrel (25), Golden Plover (2) and a White Wagtail on island today.

St. Martin’s – WOODCHAT SHRIKE, Lesser Redpoll and Whimbrel(2) reported today.
