Highlights from today reported at this evenings bird log were:

Upland Sandpiper – 1 still at Borough Farm, St. Mary’s
American Golden Plover – 1 near the Daymark, St. Martin’s
Least Sandpiper – 1 on Tresco
Lesser Yellowlegs – 1 on St. Mary’s and 1 on the Great Pool Tresco and a flyover on St.Agnes
Northern Waterthrush – not seen until the afternoon and then showed several times until dusk on Lower Moors pool.
Wilson’s Snipe – 1 still on St. Mary’s seen at Lower Moors and Porth Hellick  
Red-throated Pipit – 1 on the golf course
Subalpine Warbler – 1 on the Garrison
Radde’s- Warbler – 1 in the Dead Pine Walk on the Garrison and 1 at Salakee Farm
Brent Goose – 1 off Carn Near, Tresco
Sooty Shearwater – 1 on the Scillonian crossing
Spoonbill – 1 on Green Island.
Marsh Harrier – 1 over Annet and Gugh
Hen Harrier – A ringtail on St. Martin’s and later seen on Tresco
Spotted Crake – 1 showed very well on Abbey Pool, Tresco
Corn Crake – 1 Higher Moors
Pectoral Sandpiper – 1 on the Big Pool, St. Agnes
Arctic Skua – 2 off Peninnis
Great Skua – 15 on the Scillonian crossing
Sabine’s Gull – 1 on the Scillonian crossing
Turtle Dove – 2 at Nowhere
Short-eared Owl – 4 on Gugh
Wryneck – 1 on St. Agnes, 1 at Borough Farm, Tresco and 1 on the Garrison
Richard’s Pipit – 1 flew over the airport towards Peninnis and what was assumed to be the same bird was later seen on St. Agnes
Bluethroat – 1 still at Carn Friars and 2 possibly 3 on St. Agnes
Black Redstart – 3 on St. Mary’s and 4 on St. Martin’s
Ring Ouzel – Just 2, 1 on over Buzza and on St. Martin’s
Yellow-browed Warbler – 4 on St. Mary’s , 2 on St. Agnes and 2 on St. Martin’s
Firecrest – 1 at Newford Duck Pond and 3 in Carreg Dhu Gardens
Red-backed Shrike – 1 still on Tresco
Rose-coloured Starling – 1 still at Sallyport and 1 near the vinery on St. Martin’s
Lapland Bunting – 3 on St. Agnes and 3 on St. Martin’s
