Upland Sandpiper – 1 still at Borough Farm, St. Mary’s
American Golden Plover – 1 near the Daymark, St. Martin’s
Least Sandpiper – 1 on Tresco
Wilson’s Snipe – 1 Porth Hellick
Lesser Yellowlegs – 1 on St. Mary’s and 1 on the Great Pool Tresco
Northern Waterthrush – Much to the delight of this weeks newly arrived birders it showed well at Higginson’s Pool, morning. late afternoon and just before dusk.
Little Egret – 13 in Tresco channel
Spoonbill – 1 on Green Island.
Marsh Harrier – 1 over Green Island
Hobby – 1 flew over Porth Hellick towards Peninnis
Pectoral Sandpiper – 1 Abbey Pool, Tresco and 1 on the Big Pool, St. Agnes
Pomarine Skua – An adult pale morph bird was seen on the Scillonian crossing
Yellow-legged Gull – The adult showed well on rocks in Porthcressa Bay
Turtle Dove – 2 on Peninnis
Wryneck – 3 on St. Mary’s
Short-toed Lark -1 on the airfield
Red-throated Pipit – 1 reported at Giant’s Castle and later over Telegraph
Black Redstart – 1 Pelistry
Subalpine Warbler – 1 on the Garrison
Yellow-browed Warbler – 1 Newford Duck Pond and 1 at Content
Firecrest – 2 Newford Duck Pond and 1 on St. Agnes
Red-breasted Flycatcher – 1 in the Parsonage, St. Agnes
Rose-coloured Starling – 1 on Sallyport
Common Rosefinch – 1 on Bryher
Lapland Bunting – 1 on the Garrison, 1 on St. Agnes and 1 on Bryher
Snow Bunting – 1 on the Garrison and 1 on St. Martin’s
