Tresco – A drake Wigeon, a Pochard still with 4 young, a Whimbrel and 10 Wheatears. Bryher – A Spotted Flycatcher and 2 Wheatears. A Common Swift was over Norrard Rocks.

Tresco – A drake Wigeon and a Wheatear. Bryher – 3 Sanderlings
St. Mary’s – The Black-tailed Godwit was still on Porth Hellick Pool, a Common Whitethroat was in Lower Moors and a Common Swift was over Maypole. Tresco – A Wigeon and a Lesser Redpoll. St. Agnes – A pair of Tufted Ducks, a female Wigeon and 5 Whimbrels. St. Martin’s Read more…
St. Mary’s – A Black-tailed Godwit was on Porth Hellick Pool and a Cuckoo was on the Garrison. Tresco – A Common Buzzard.
St. Mary’s – 4 Black-tailed Godwits were at Porth Hellick and a Cuckoo was in Old Town Churchyard.
St. Mary’s – A female Golden Oriole was in the sallows by Higher Moors pumping station and a Hobby flew over the airfield late evening. Tresco – A Common Buzzard and a female Pochard, still with four young. St. Agnes – 3 Whimbrels. Gugh – A Spotted Flycatcher.
St. Mary’s – 2 Black-tailed Godwits & a Hobby were at Porth Hellick and 2 Lesser Redpolls(1 was a juvenile) were at Higher Moors.
St. Mary’s – A Red-breasted Flycatcher was caught and ringed at Porth Hellick, this was only the fourth spring record for Scilly. A Cuckoo was at Porth Hellick and a Lesser Redpoll & a Siberian Chiffchaff were in Lower Moors. Tresco – A Common Sandpiper, 5 Dunlins and 2 Common Read more…
St. Agnes – 5 Whimbrels, a Bar-tailed Godwit, 3 Cuckoos and 50+ Wheatears. Annet – A Great Northern Diver was offshore.
St. Mary’s – A Hobby, a White Wagtail & a Cuckoo were at Porth Hellick and another Cuckoo was at Old Town. St. Martin’s – The male Hen Harrier was still on the island.
