Tuesday 22nd January 2013 IoS Bird Reports

  St. Mary’s – 2 female Ring-necked Ducks (presumably from Tresco) were on Porth Hellick Pool but there was no sign of the 6 Greenland White-fronted Geese. Saturday 19th January 2013 IoS Bird Reports

St. Mary’s – The 6 Greenland White-fronted Geese were still on Porth Hellick Pool, the Kingfisher was still in Old Town Bay and a Black Redstart was still on Porthloo Beach. A female Great Spotted Woodpecker was in Lower Moors and a Long-eared Owl was heard calling there at dusk. Read more…
