St. Mary’s – A Waxwing flew over Hugh Town towards the Garrison and 2 female Ring-necked Ducks were still at Porth Hellick Pool along with a drake Pochard.

Samson – Birders on a trip to the island to check the status of rat baits saw 2 Great Northern Divers (1 of which was calling!), 15 Common Teal, 30 Shelduck, a Dunlin, a Woodcock, 2 Common Snipe and 20 Fulmars flying around the southern cliffs.

Inter-island waters – 3 Slavonian Grebes were off the Eastern Isles and in The Roads were 2 Black-throated Divers, 2 Great Northern Divers, 44 Common Scoters & 4 Dark-bellied Brent Geese.
