St. Mary’s – A Wood Warbler and a Garden Warbler were in Mount Todden Pines, both singing and showing well. 12 Turtle Doves were in a field below the riding stables and 4 were at Salakee, with the serious decline in recent years of this species this is an encouraging count. A drake Teal was at Porth Hellick and a Common Swift was over the island.
