Glossy Ibis, Garrison playing fields, 02.10.13, Paul Buxton

St. Agnes – This was the island to be today! A WHITE’S THRUSH was on the track to Covean, a GLOSSY IBIS flew over Porth Killier and the Big Pool before moving to St. Mary’s, a SUBALPINE WARBLER was near the church and a BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPER was on Wingletang Down.

St. Mary’s – The GLOSSY IBIS landed briefly on the Garrison playing Fields before flying towards the Golf Course, never to be relocated. 4 Wrynecks were reported, 1 on the Peninnis allotments, 1 in Hugh Town, 1 at Pelistry and 1 at Borough Farm. The Bluethroat was still at Lower Moors and 2 Common Scoters were of Watermill cove.
