St. Mary’s – The 6 Greenland White-fronted Geese were still on Carn Friars Farm in the field behind the ringing station, 2 Firecrests were on Porth Hellick Loop Trail, and a Jackdaw was seen flying over several locations on the island. A Black Redstart was on Porthloo and there was an obvious fall of Chiffchaffs with at least a 100 birds on the island. 5 White Wagtails and 27 Fieldfares were on the airfield.
Samson – 2 Spoonbills.
Western Rocks – 20 Purple Sandpipers.
Eastern Isles – The flock of about 40 Common Scoters was still around.
