St. Mary’s – 2 late Whinchats were at Porth Mellon and Porth Minnick and a very late Tree Pipit was on the Tremelethen Trail. 6 Greenland White-fronted Geese and a Shelduck were on Porth Hellick Pool.

Tresco – On a very fruitful day trip 68 species were recorded, amongst them were: A first-winter Kumlien’s Gull, a first-winter Glaucous Gull, 10 Little Egrets, 6 Whooper Swans, a Pochard, a Wigeon, 4 Shelduck, a female Eider, a Dunlin, 10+Curlew, a Little Grebe, a summer-plumaged Great Northern Diver, 2 Short-eared Owls, 2 Siberian Chiffchaff, 10+ Common Chiffchaff, a late Willow Warbler, a Fieldfare, a Skylark, a Siskin, a Brambling, 3 Crossbills, a Grey Wagtail and 2 Black Redstarts.

Samson – 3 Spoonbills on Green Island.

Teän – A Shelduck, a Bar-tailed Godwit, a Whimbrel and 20+ Curlew.

St.Martin’s – 21 Common Scoters and a Great Northern Diver offshore towards the Eastern Isles.
