Tresco – The SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHER was still on the beach near Skirt Island, a BAIRD’S SANDPIPER was on South Beach and a Wryneck was nearby. A Garganey was on the Great Pool.

St. Mary’s – 2 Citrine Wagtails were seen at there regular sites in the morning – 1 at Porth Hellick and 1 on the Project Pool, Lower Moors. In the evening 2 birds were at Porth Hellick, so whether the Lower Moors bird has joined the Porth Hellick bird or there is a third new bird has yet to be determined. A Corncrake was on Salakee farm and a Wryneck was on the road near Juliet’s Garden. Single Whinchats were in Lower Moors and on Peninnis.

Teän – The Sunday Seabird Special boat trip came trumps again when they re-found the Tresco  BAIRD’S SANDPIPER on seaweed on the Old Man of Teän.
