Common Tern – 35+ on the south end of Annet.

Lapwing – 1 was still on Tresco.
Common Tern – 20 on the south end of Annet and 12 in Scilly waters seen from the Scillonian III on the afternoon crossing from St. Mary’s to Penzance.

Whimbrel – 3 on Samson and 1 a t Periglis, St. Agnes.
Hobby – 1 flew north over the Garrison.
Common Swift – 4 flew over the golf course.
Lesser whitethroat – 1 singing from the hedge on the coastal path past Juliet’s Garden.

Black Guillemot – 1 still near St. Helen’s.
Whimbrel – 1 at Bar Point.
Mediterranean Gull – 2 at Porthloo.
Spotted Flycatcher – 1 in the garden of Longstone bungalow.
Monday (09/06)
Cuckoo – 1 calling from the pines behind the second green on the Golf Course and 1 heard at New Grimsby, Tresco.
Common Swift – 10 Abbey Pool, Tresco, 1 over Longstone and 1 over St. Agnes.
Tuesday (10/06)
Quail – 1 flushed from the main track at Porth Seal, St. Martin’s.
Shoveler – A female was on the Great Pool, Tresco.
