St. Mary’s – A Melodious Warbler, 7 Spotted Flycatchers, a Pied Flycatcher, 2 Common Redstarts, 2 Common Whitethroats, a Yellow Wagtail and a Tree Pipit were all on the Garrison. A Common Redstart was at Trenoweth, the Bee-eater & 2 Tree Pipits were in the Maypole/Borough Farm area and a Pied Flycatcher was at Bishop’s View. 3 Whinchats were on Porth Hellick Loop and nearby on the pool were 9 Greenshanks, a Dunlin & 2 Kingfishers, 12 Yellow and 20 Alba Wagtails came in to roost at dusk.

Tresco – A juvenile Woodchat Shrike, a Spotted Flycatcher, 3 Whinchats, a Wigeon, a Common Buzzard, 2 Curlew Sandpipers. 3 Ruff and 5 Black-tailed Godwits. Little Egret numbers are starting their usual autumn increase with 14 present.

St. Agnes – A Wryneck at Porth Killier and 6 Whinchats on the cricket field.
