St. Mary’s – A Mediterranean Gull in the Porthloo/Porth Mellon area.

St. Martin’s – A Wheatear.

St. Agnes – a Common Tern, a Willow Warbler and a Wheatear.

The 2 Wheatears above follow a belated report of 2 on Castle Down, Tresco on Tuesday 27th. These and the Willow warbler are the first signs of returning migrant passerines.

A daytime pelagic trip to Seven Stones produced 40 European Storm-petrel and a Balearic Shearwater. On an evening trip a Wilson’s Storm-petrel and 20 European Storm-petrel were seen and a Blue Shark was caught, tagged and released.
