Wednesday 4th – Saturday 7th December 2019 – IoS Bird Sightings

Wednesday 4th – The Hermit Thrush was still in the horse paddock at the bottom of Kittydown track and 11 Black Redstart were at Porthloo. Monday 2nd – Tuesday 3rd December 2019 – IoS Bird Sightings

Saturday 30th November – Sunday 1st December – IoS Bird Sightings

Saturday – The Surf Scoter and the Hermit Thrush were both at their usual locations and a Siberian Chiffchaff was at Newford Duck Pond. Sunday  – The Hermit Thrush was sheltering from the wind  and rain in the Higher Moors Pumping Station compound adjacent to the horse paddock at the bottom of Kittydown. Read more…

Thursday 28th & Friday 29th November – IoS Bird Sightings

Monday 25th – Wednesday 27th November 2019 – IoS Bird Sightings

Monday 25th – The Hermit Thrush was still in its usual field, the Surf Scoter was still at Porthloo and the Great Northern Diver was still in Hugh Town Harbour. 6 Mediterranean, a Common and 3 Yellow-legged Gull were off Morning Point, The Garrison. Friday 22nd – Sunday 24th November 2019 – IoS Bird Sightings

Friday 22nd – The Surf Scoter was still at Porthloo, where the Ring-billed Gull made a brief visit late morning. Thursday 21st November 2019 – IoS Bird Sightings

The November goodies continue, new in today was a Ring-billed Gull which joined the Surf Scoter at Porthloo. Tuesday 19th – Wednesday 20th November 2019 – IoS Bird Sightings

Monday 18th November 2019 – IoS Bird Sightings

Wednesday 13th – Sunday 17th November 2019 – IoS Bird Sightings

Wednesday 13th – Another Dusky Warbler was found, this time in bushes at Newford Duck Pond. A Little Egret & 3 Mediterranean Gull were at Porthcressa.
