Friday

Bee-eater flew past the Garrison arch and over Hugh town Harbour in the evening, the Red-rumped Swallow was at Porth Hellick and a female type Golden Oriole was on Flagstaff Hill, St. Martin’s.

The ringtail Hen Harrier was seen over Porth Hellick in the Morning and over Lower Moors in the evening. It was also seen over Flagstaff Hill, St. Martin’s.

Sparrowhawk was at the Golf Course, a Tree Pipit was on the Garrison and at Porth Hellick there were 3 Whimbrel & a Turtle Dove flew over.

Saturday

The weather and the birds gave the islands a Mediterranean feel.

Bee-eater 2 flew over Pelistry and were then 1 or 2 were seen around the island, 1, probably 2,Red-rumped Swallow were seen at several locations, a Western Subalpine Warbler was on the Garrison, a Woodchat Shrike was at Green Farm and 3 different Golden Oriole were on St. Mary’s. 

The Corncrake was still on St. Agnes and 4Turtle Dove  were in a field near Carreg Dhu Gardens, with another at Lenteverne, Watermill.

The ringtail Hen Harrier flew over Sandy Banks Farm and a Merlin was near Carreg Dhu Gardens.

A Common Swift flew over Sunnyside, a Lesser Whitethroat was at Pelistry and 2 Spotted Flycatcher were near Carreg Dhu Gardens.
