Sunday 22nd April 2018 IoS Bird Sightings

St Agnes – probable Spanish Wagtail still by campsite at 0805hrs. Also male Merlin and Redwing on cricket pitch. Saturday 21st April 2018 IoS Bird Sightings

St Mary’s – A Redwing was on the Garrison football pitch early morning. A House Martin and a Grasshopper Warbler were  at Lower Moors. An Iceland Gull was on the golf course and a Tree pipit flew over the airfield. A pod of Common Dolphins went east past Giants Castle. Read more…

Thursday 19th and Friday 20th April 2018 IoS Bird Sightings

Wednesday 18th April 2018 IoS Bird Sightings

9th April – A Grasshopper Warbler was on Carn Friars Lane at 0725hrs. A Water Rail was in Old Town churchyard and a Common Buzzard flew over Pelistry. 1st April – An Iceland Gull was at Porthcressa.
