St Mary’s – The six Greenland White-fronted Geese were still on Porth Hellick pool and added to many a year list. Three Crossbills were in the pines near Bant’s Carn this morning. A Short-eared Owl was on the beach at Porth Hellick today.
Tresco – the two female Ring-necked Ducks were on the Great Pool today along with the four Whooper Swans. A Short-eared Owl was seen near Pentle Bay and the female Ruddy Shelduck flew over the Abbey Pool.
Roads – The Spoonbill was near Samson again and an adult Black-throated Diver was in Tresco Channel
