Great Spotted Woodpecker– 1 in Well Cover, Tresco.

Woodcock – 1 on Tremelethen Farm.

Mediterranean Gull – 3 adults at Porth Cressa.

Swallow – 4 at Little Porth.

Firecrest – 1 in Carreg Dhu Gardens.

Redwing – 50 at Longstone and 17 on Peninnis.

Black Redstart – 1 at Little Porth.

Siskin – 20 at Porth Hellick House and 5 on Abbey Drive, Tresco.

Ring-billed Gull – A 1st-winter bird was at Tregear Porth just southeast of Watermill Cove (photo).

Oystercatcher – A putative bird of the Siberiansubspecies, longipes was at Little Porth (photo).

Great Northern Diver – 1 by Hats Buoy.

Merlin – 1 at Longstone

Firecrest – 2 in Carreg Dhu Gardens and 1 at the Rosehill end of :Lower Moors.

Grey Wagtail – 1 in the Standing Stones Field/.

Monday (20/11)

Cape May Warbler – The first-winter female was still feeding in bushes and on rocks in Green Bay Beach, below the track to Veronica Farm, Bryher.

Pintail – 5 on the Great Pool, Tresco.

Pochard – 3 drakes on Abbey Pool, Tresco.

Sanderling – 90+ on Porthloo Beach.

Swallow – 2 at Porthloo.

Cape May Warbler – The first-winter female was still feeding in bushes and on rocks in Green Bay Beach, below the track to Veronica Farm, Bryher.

Oystercatcher – The putative Siberian subspecieswas still at Little Porth.

Woodcock – 1 on Tremelethen Farm.

Little Egret – 4 on Tresco.

Short-eared Owl – 1 Porth Hellick Down.

Merlin – 1 Little Porth and 1 at Longstone.

Cetti’s Warbler – 1 Higher Moors.

Firecrest – 1 Porth Hellick Down.

Redwing – 22 Holy Vale.

Reed Bunting –1 on Carn Friars Farm.

Wednesday (22/11)

Cape May Warbler – The first-winter female was still feeding in bushes and on rocks in Green Bay Beach, below the track to Veronica Farm, Bryher.

Oystercatcher – The putative Siberian subspecieswas still at Little Porth.

Great northern Diver – 4 between Green Bay, Bryher and Tresco.

Lapwing – 2 flew from Peninnis to the airfield.

Short-eared Owl – 1 on the track to Cromwell Castle, Tresco.

Swallow – 3 flew in from the sea at Porthloo.

Cetti’s Warbler – 1 trapped at Porth Hellick Ringing Station.

Black Redstart – 1 at Bant’s Carn and 1 around the old school building at Carn Thomas.

Thursday (23/11)

Cape May Warbler – The first-winter female was still feeding in bushes and on rocks along Green Bay Beach, Bryher.

Great Shearwater – 2 in a feeding frenzy between Watermill and Pelistry.

Great Northern Diver – 3 on the sea off Pelistry and 1 close inshore between the quays on Bryher.

Little Egret – 1 on Lower Moors Pool

Wigeon – 5 on Tresco.

Waxwing – 2 on the track 100 yards north of Olivia’s Kitchen, Bryher.

Siberian Lesser Whitethroat – A “possible” blythi was behind Tregarthen’s Hotel, Hugh Town.

Black Redstart – 1 at Little Porth and a male on Pelistry Beach.

Friday (24/11)

Cape May Warbler – The first-winter female was still feeding in bushes and on rocks along Green Bay Beach, Bryher.

Great Northern Diver – 4 from the interisland boat between St. Mary’s and Bryher

Grey Plover – 1` flew over Green Bay, Bryher.

Black Redstart – 1 by the airport terminal building.
