Tresco –  A Black Kite was over Abbey Hill in the morning and 2 Black Kites were over New Grimsby late afternoon.

St. Mary’s – A Wood Warbler was singing in the bushes at Higher Moors pumping station, a Yellow Wagtail was at Green Farm, the year’s first Spotted Flycatcher was at Carn Vean, a Whimbrel & a Cuckoo were on Peninnis, another Cuckoo was at Bar Farm and a male Golden Oriole flew over Porth Hellick Pool in the evening.

St. Martin’s – 1 of the Black Kites paid a visit to the island late morning. Also on the island were 2 Golden Orioles, a male Red-backed Shrike, a Turtle Dove, a Ring Ouzel, a Yellow Wagtail, a Tree Pipit, 2 Common Swifts and offshore, between St. Martin’s and St. Mary’s were a Black-throated Diver & a Great Northern Diver.
