St. Mary’s – A Bullfinch (a very scarce bird on Scilly) was seen near Porth Hellick House and in Holy Vale. The Spotted Crake was still in Lower Moors, a Serin was on the Garrison, a Common Whitethroat & 3 Ring Ouzels were on the Golf Couse and a Rook flew over Longstone. The putative Azorean Yellow-legged Gull was still on the airfield and has been re-identified as a normal Yellow-legged Gull. Sadly a Hawfinch was found dead in a Hugh Town Garden.

Bryher – The Bee-eater was seen over Popplestone Fields mid-morning, also on the island were 2 Yellow Wagtails, 3 Tree Pipits, a Whinchat, aSedge Warbler a Common Whitethroat, the Hooded Crow and 2 Ring Ouzel.

St. Martin’s – The Bee-eater was seen twice in the afternoon and there was also a Hoopoe,  a Yellow Wagtail a Black Redstart and the islands’ firstPied Flycatcher of the year.

St. Agnes – A Ring Ouzel.
