St. Mary’s – The Purple Heron & Bluethroat were still at lower Moors, as were a Jack Snipe, a Red-breasted Flycatcher and 2 Common Redstarts. Another Jack Snipe was on Porth Hellick Pool. A Lapland Bunting & a Wryneck were on Peninnis, the autumn’s first Firecrest was on Porth Hellick Loop, 2 Bar-tailed Godwits were on Porthloo Beach and the Little Bunting was still in field on Porthloo Farm. Of interest on the insect front, a Crimson-spotted Moth was seen near old Town inn.

Tresco – 2 Jack Snipes, a Common Scoter, a Wryneck and a Yellow-legged Gull. A Balearic Shearwater, a Great Skua and 50 Common Dolphins were seen just north of the island on the the afternoon “Seabird special” trip.

St. Agnes – A Subalpine Warbler, a Yellow-browed Warbler, a Rose-coloured Starling and a Buff-breasted Sandpiper.

Bryher – A Little Stint and 2 Wrynecks.

Gugh – A Wryneck.

Samson – 3 Bar-tailed Godwits and a Marsh Harrier.
