St. Martin’s – A Pied Flycatcher and a Spotted Flycatcher, both the first of the autumn.
Inter-island waters – A Black-tailed Godwit was in the Roads.
At sea – 50 European Storm-petrels, a Sooty Shearwater, 10 Manx Shearwaters and 2 Grey Phalaropes were seen on a short-range pelagic trip. Also 3 Blue Sharks and the first Porbeagle for several years were caught, tagged and released.
