St. Mary’s – A Great Northern Diver & 2 Common Scoters were off Innisidgen and nearby in Watermill Cove were 2 early Painted Lady butterflies. The 6 Greenland White-fronted Geese were still at Carn Friars Farm in the field behind the ringing station and a Siberian Chiffchaff was in Lower Moors.
Tresco – The 3 Ring-necked Ducks, a Common Scoter and the year’s first Green Sandpiper were on the Great Pool. Also seen on the island was a Lesser Redpoll and a Reed Bunting.
Inter-island waters – A Black-throated Diver was in The Roads, near Samson
