St. Mary’s – The first Sand Martin of the year was seen over pines behind Porthlow Farm and the Goosander was off Town Beach. The drake Pintail was still on Porth Hellick Pool and nearby 4 Fieldfares & 2 Redwings were at Salakee.
Tresco – The 3 Ring-necked Ducks (a drake and 2 females) were still on the Great Pool and 2 Short-eared Owls were near the Abbey Pool. Also on the island were 2 Sand Martins and a Firecrest.
