Ruddy Shelduck, off Samson IoS Feb 2013 (J.Pender)
St. Mary’s – The 2 female Ring-necked Ducks and 6 Greenland White-fronted Geese were still on Porth Hellick Pool.
Samson – Sightings whilst on another rat baiting trip to the island were: a female Common Eider, the Ruddy Shelduck, a Dunlin, 15 Curlews, 2 Grey Plovers, 80 Sanderling, 100 Ringed Plovers, 15 Rock Pipits, a male Merlin, 23 Fulmars, 15 Black-headed Gulls and 5 Common Gulls.
