St Mary’s – The islands 13th ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK was found at Pilots Retreat on the eastern side of Hugh Town at lunchtime. It had apparently been coming to a feeder all morning. It showed again at 1400 and again just before dusk when it was around for a little longer. The last was on St Agnes in October 2007 and this was the 24th for the UK.
The Waxwing was again in Sally Port with a Firecrest nearby. A Black Redstart was on Little Porth along with two Pied Wagtails with a Grey Wagtail near the Quay.
The six Greenland White-fronted Geese were at Porth Hellick still.

Roads – Four Spoonbills were on Green Island near Samson. Two Dark-bellied Brent Geese were off St Mary’s Harbour before flying towards Samson
