St Marys – The Water Pipit was still on the beach below the Mermaid car park today. Two Lesser Whitethroats, possibly of the eastern form blythi were at Higher Moors today. Nearby two Siberian Chiffchaffs were seen and heard with another at Lower moors. Also on Lower Moor was a Firecrest a species that has been quite scarce this autumn. Five Bramblings were also on Lower Moors today and a Black Redstart was seen from the Mermaid car park.
The six Greenland White-fronted Geese and the male Scaup are still on Porth Hellick Pool.
