Barred Warbler, Longstone , 11.11.12, Kris Webb

St. Mary’s – A late Barred Warbler was at Longstone, where the Common Crossbill was still around. The 6 Greenland White-fronted Geese were still on Porth Hellick Pool and the Red-throated Diver was still off town Beach. A Glaucous Gull flew over the Golf Course and nearby 2 Common Crossbills were at Bants Carn. 2 Black Redstarts were on Porthloo Beach and another was in Hugh Town. 3 Siberian Chiffchaffs were in the Higher Moors/ Porth Hellick area and another 2 were in Lower Moors where there were also 5 Bramblings and a Yellow-browed Warbler.
