Highlights for Sunday on the Islands include:

Solitary Sandpiper – One was still on Bryher.

Blackpoll Warbler – It finally gave itself up and was seen by most birders that went to Bryher.

American Golden Plover – 1 was Still commuting between Porth Hellick beach and the airfield.

Little Bunting 1 was seen briefly at Porth Minnick.

Rose-coloured Starling – 1 still at Porth Hellick.

Serin – 1 on the Garrison and 1 on Gugh.

Richard’s Pipit – 1 at Carn Friars, 1 Pelistry and 1 on St. Agnes.

Coal Tit – 2 Lower Moors, 3 on Bryher, 3 on Tresco, 3 on St. Agnes and 1 on Gugh.

Yellow-browed Warbler – 3 Lower Moors, 1 on Porth Hellick Loop Trail. 1 Porthloo Lane, 1 Old Town Lane, 1 Telegraph, 1 on Tresco, 1 on St. Agnes and 2 on St. Martin’s.

Whooper Swan – 6 on still the Great Pool, Tresco.

Pink-footed Goose – 8 were still on Tresco.

Wigeon – 1 on Tresco.

Tufted Duck – A female on Tresco.

Sooty Shearwater – 3 were seen from Sallyport.

Spoonbill – 1 still on Green Island, Samson.

Little Egret – 19 in Tresco Channel and 1 at Porthcressa.

Marsh Harrier – A male over Samson..

Merlin – 2 on the St. Mary’s and 1 on Tresco.

Grey Plover – 2 in Tresco Channel.

Purple Sandpiper – 1 on Tresco.

Jack Snipe – 1 at Lower Moors and 1 on Tresco.

Arctic Skua – 1 off Porth Hellick and 1 off the Easter Isles.

Mediterranean Gull – A second -winter bird was seen on Abbey Pool, Tresco and at Porthloo.

Wryneck – 1 Porth Minnick.

Great Spotted Woodpecker – 1 in Holy Vale, 1 on the Garrison and 1 in off the sea on Bryher.

Black Redstart – 1 Peninnis and 1 on St. Agnes.

Common Redstart – 1 on Peninnis, 1 at Carn Leh and 1 on Tresco.

Whinchat – 1 Carn Friars, 1 Bar Point, 1 on the airfield, 1 at the dump and 1 at Porth Minnick.

Ring Ouzel – 1 on the Garrison and 1 on St. Martin’s.

Lesser Whitethroat – 1 on the Garrison and 1 on Bryher.

Common Whitethroat – 1 on the Garrison and 1 at Porth Hellick.

Firecrest – 1 in Lower Moors, 1 in Holy Vale and 1 on Tresco.

Spotted flycatcher – 1 Carn Gwaval and 1 on Tresco..

Pied flycatcher – 1 on Tresco and 1 on St. Agnes.

Rook – 1 on Tresco.

Brambling – 11 on St. Mary’s and 1 on Tresco.

Siskin – 50+ on St. Mary’s and 2 on Tresco.

Common Crossbill – 1 over the golf course, 3 on the Garrison, 1 on Bryher and 1 on Tresco.

Lapland Bunting – 2 on Bryher.

Snow Bunting – 3 flew over the golf course..
