St. Mary’s – The Buff-breasted Sandpiper was still on the airfield.
Tresco – A Curlew Sandpiper, 17 Greenshanks, 8 Redshanks, 7 Dunlins, 2 Wigeons, a Water Rail, 2 Spotted & 7 Pied Flycatchers, 3 Crossbills and a Tree Pipit.
St. Agnes – 4 Pied Flycatchers and a Cory’s Shearwater & a juvenile Long-tailed Skua flew past Horse Point.
At sea – Birders on an evening pelagic trip saw a Great Shearwater, 10 European Storm-petrels, 100 Manx Shearwaters, 3 Grey Phalaropes and 5 juvenile Arctic Terns. Also seen on the trip 2 Common Dolphins, 2 Portuguese Man-of-War and 4 Blue Sharks were caught, tagged & released.
