St. Mary’s – There were at least 9 Pied Flycatchers on the island, with 4 in the Dead Pine Walk on the Garrison. 5 Green Sandpipers & a Spotted Flycatcher were at Lower Moors, 2 Tufted Ducks, 3 Green & 2 Common Sandpipers were at Porth Hellick, 7 Swifts were over Hugh town and a Golden Plover was on the Golf Course.

Tresco – An Osprey flew over heading towards St. Martin’s. Also on the island were 4 Dunlins, 10 Sanderlings, a Whimbrel, 4 Greenshanks and 3 Swifts.

Teän – An Eider and a Whimbrel.

At sea – Birders on a daytime pelagic trip saw 50+ European Storm-petrels, a Pomarine & 5 Great Skuas and a Great Shearwater
