St. Mary’s – Still lots of Blackcaps and Wheatears around. 3 Golden Orioles ( 2 males & a female) were seen together on the Garrison were there was also a male Common Redstart. Another male Golden Oriole was on the loop trail at Porth Hellick, a Lesser Whitethroat was at Deep Point and there were 200+ Whimbrels on the island with a flock of 150 on the Golf Course. A Spotted Flycatcher was on the Garrison and the Short-toed Lark was again near the turning circle on the Airfield in the evening. Single cuckoos were on the Garrison and Peninnis.

St. Martin’s – 2 Red-rumped Swallows were at Lower Town early morning and five Golden Orioles were on the island in the evening.

Bryher – A Golden Oriole flew towards Tresco and a Red-rumped Swallow was southwest of Shipman Head. Also a second Golden Oriole late afternoon, a Spotted Flycatcher, a Grasshopper Warbler, 2 Whinchats, 2 Garden Warblers, 6 Common Whitethroats, a Green Sandpiper and a Merlin.

Tresco – 2 Pied flycatchers, a Wood Warbler, a Corn Bunting and an immature male Marsh Harrier

St. Agnes – 24 Dunlin, 2 Sanderling and 3 Bar-tailed Godwits.
