Mary’s – After it had not been seen for over a week the Northern Waterthrush showed again several times at various locations in Lower Moors. Also there were the 2 Dusky Warblers, the Wilson’s Snipe, 2 Jack Snipe, a Yellow-browed Warbler, 3 Willow Warblers and 40-50 Chiffchaffs, including at least 1 , possibly 3 Siberian Chiffchaffs. Nearby the Red-breasted Flycatcher was still in the Dump Clump were there was also 10 Chiffchaffs and a Dusky Warbler, probably 1 of the Lower Moors birds, as it was seen flying off in that direction. Single Yellow-browed Warblers were also seen at Rosehill, Newford Duck Pond and Higher Moors. 2 Black Redstarts were at Trenoweth Farm and another was on Porthloo Beach. A Swift, seen briefly flying over the airfield, was thought to be a Common Swift.
