Friday 25th November 2011 IoS Bird Reports

St. Mary’s – A Dusky Warbler, a Yellow-browed Warbler and 2 Siberian Chiffchaffs were in Lower Moors. Single Yellow-browed Warblers were also at Rosehill, the Dump clump & Newford Duck Pond and the first-winter drake Eider was still by Hugh Town Quay.

Thursday 24th November 2011 IoS Bird Reports

St. Mary’s – The Wilson’s Snipe & the 2 Dusky Warblers were still in Lower Moors and nearby the Red-breasted Flycatcher was still in the Dump Clump were there was also a Willow Warbler. St. Mary’s – The Wilson’s Snipe, a Jack Snipe, the 2 Dusky Warblers, 2 Siberian Chiffchaff and a Yellow-browed Warbler were all in Lower Moors. Mary’s – After it had not been seen for over a week the Northern Waterthrush showed again several times at various locations in Lower Moors. Monday 21st November 2011 Ios Bird Reports

St. Mary’s – The 2 Dusky Warblers were still in Lower Moors, also there were a Yellow-browed Warbler, a Siberian Chiffchaff and a Jack Snipe. The Red-breasted Flycatcher was still in the Dump Clump along with another Siberian Chiffchaff and a Yellow-browed Warbler was at Newford Duck Pond.
