St. Mary’s – An Ortolan Bunting was on the airfield early morning and a new Woodchat Shrike was found in fields by the airport approach road. A Buff-breasted Sandpiper (probably the Bryher bird) was found on the airfield by birders returning from a sea-watch off Giants’ Castle. The sea-watch had produced a Sabine’s Gull, 29 Great Shearwaters, 2 Sooty Shearwaters, a Balearic Shearwater and 2 Great Skuas. The juvenile Woodchat Shrike was still in field southeast of Pelistry, a Knot was on Porthloo Beach and at Porth Hellick were 9 Greenshanks, a Green Sandpiper, a Common Sandpiper, a Curlew Sandpiper, 2 Black-tailed Godwits & 2 Kingfishers.

Tresco – A Citrine Wagtail flew over Rowesfield also on the island were a Wryneck and 2 Curlew Sandpipers. 2 Great Shearwaters were north of Tresco.

Bryher – A Buff-breasted Sandpiper was on Shipman Head Down.

St. Agnes – A Citrine Wagtail flew over and a 20 Great and 2 Sooty Shearwaters were seen from Horse Point.

Teän – 3 Mediterranean Gulls and a Bar-tailed Godwit.
