St. Mary’s – A juvenile Pallid Harrier was found in the evening, quartering a weedy field on Salakee Farm, which was full of finches. This is only the third record for Scilly. The Bee-eater was seen again at Lower and Higher Moors and the juvenile Woodchat Shrike was still in the goat field below the airport. A Knot and 2 Dunlin were on Porthloo, 2 Ruff were on the airfield and 9 Mediterranean Gulls were in Porthcressa Bay.

Tresco – A Knot, 4 Dunlins, a Common Sandpiper, 2 Ruffs, 5 Black-tailed Godwits, 2 Jackdaws, a Whinchat and a Yellow Wagtail. Yet another juvenile Woodchat Shrike was near the Church at Old Grimsby.

St. Agnes – A Yellow-legged Gull.

Bryher – 12 Dunlin, a Black-tailed Godwit and a Whimbrel.

At sea – A very quiet pelagic trip yielded just 1 Sooty Shearwater, 1 Great Skua and 2 European Storm-petrels.
