St. Mary’s – The place to be in the morning was the Garrison where there were, 3 Spotted Flycatchers, a Pied Flycatcher, a Western Bonelli’s Warbler, a Melodious Warbler and a Wryneck. A Wood Sandpiper was in Lower Moors and the wandering Bee-eater was seen over the airfield and over Holy Vale.

St. Agnes – The Yellow-legged Gull was on Periglis Beach.

Teän – 5 Mediterranean Gulls.

Tresco – A Citrine Wagtail was found on Abbey Pool and a Wryneck was close to Carn Near. Elsewhere on the island were a Ruff, a Green Sandpiper, 6 Common Sandpipers, 18 Greenshanks, 11 Redshanks, a Knot, 8 Dunlin, a juvenile Mediterranean Gull, a Common Buzzard, a Yellow Wagtail and a Pied Flycatcher.

At Sea – pelagic trip 6 miles south of St. Mary’s, saw 4+ Wilson’s Storm-petrels, 30+ European Storm-petrels, 2 Great Shearwaters, 8 Sooty Shearwaters and 6 Great Skuas. Also seen on the trip was an Ocean Sunfish, a Minke Whale and 2 Blue Sharks which were caught, tagged and released.
