St. Mary’s – A Bee-eater flew over Trenoweth towards Watermill late in the afternoon. There have been several sporadic reports over the summer, mainly over the north of the island, is there a summering bird that has not been pinned down to a preferred location? Also on the island the juvenile Woodchat Shrike was still at Helvear, a juvenile Mediterranean Gull was on Porth Mellon Beach and a Green Sandpiper was at Lower Moors.

Tresco – 12 Greenshanks, 7 Redshanks, 8 Dunlins and 7 Swifts.

Annet – A juvenile Marsh Harrier
