St. Mary’s – An Eider, 7 Common Scoters, 14 Great Northern Divers and a Slavonian Grebe on the sea viewed from Star Castle. Seen from Bar Point were another 15 Great Northern Divers, another Slavonian Grebe, 3 Whimbrel , 3 Bar-tailed Godwits and a third-winter Yellow-legged Gull. A Siberian Chiffchaff was at Porth Hellick and a Merlin was seen to catch a Turnstone on Porthloo Beach, the Turnstone managed to escape!
Bryher – A Black-necked Grebe near Hangman’s Island.
Samson – 2 Spoonbills on Green Island.
