St. Mary’s – The Spotted Sandpiper was still on Porth Hellick Pool, where a Spotted Crake was seen briefly early morning. A Lapland Bunting was at Salakee and another was on the Golf Course. A Common Rosefinch was at Carn Friars Farm and it or another was seen at Salakee. A Greenish Warbler was in sallows on Higher Moors and 3 Sooty shearwaters flew past Giant’s Castle. A Buff-breasted Sandpiper was on the airfield in the evening.
Tresco – The Wilson’s Phalarope was still on the Great Pool and the Pectoral Sandpiper was still on Abbey Pool. A seawatch from the north end of the island produced a Sooty, 3 Balearic and 31 Manx Shearwaters.
St. Agnes – An Icterine Warbler was seen in Covean.
Samson – The Spoonbill was on Green Island.
