Todays Birding highlights on the Islands include:
St Mary’s – *GYR* white morph again flew from High Lanes towards Telegraph at 14.50hrs. *CATTLE EGRET* at Trewince. (Thanks A.H) Also Barnacle Goose (2) off Innisidgen for ten minutes at 09.00hrs and Little Gull (1w) at north end of Island. Long-eared Owl at Longstones at dusk and Greylag (3) flew over.
Tresco – *CATTLE EGRET* (2) in field above Pool Road
St Martins – *CATTLE EGRET* (4) in Sheep Field
This afternoons boat trip on board ‘Lightning’ produced: Med Gull (ad) , Red-breasted Merganser (Fem), Slav Grebe (5), Eider (2), Common Scoter (5), GN Diver (19), Kittiwake, Whimbrel and Pintail. (Thanks A.H)
